China Bank Savings Inc. is expanding its financial literacy programs for Filipino public school educators as part of National Teachers’ Month activities.
The bank held financial wellness seminars in September, reaching around 1,200 teaching and non-teaching personnel from the Department of Education’s central and regional offices.
The workshops covered personal financial health, budgeting, and long-term wealth management for civil servants.
China Bank Savings President James Christian T. Dee said the initiative aims to help teachers make responsible financial decisions for themselves and their families.
The program will culminate in a “Teacher, Ikaw Naman” event on Oct. 5 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, where educators will receive various prizes, including savings accounts, appliances, laptops, motorcycles, and vehicles.
