Akbayan Party-list Rep. Perci Cendaña is considering legal action against individuals behind online attacks that mocked his physical condition.
He condemned the caricature as “dehumanizing” and warned pages, influencers, and individuals who shared or amplified it.
Cendaña said he welcomes legitimate criticism but drew the line at harassment, humiliation, and discrimination.
As a stroke survivor, he said the attacks on his medical condition are troubling and should not be used to shame or insult people with disabilities.
He said he is consulting lawyers on possible legal action against those responsible.
