Up to 5,000 delegates from ASEAN member states and other countries are expected to attend the ASEAN Tourism Forum in Cebu later this month.
The event will bring together tourism executives, officials, and global leaders for ministerial and trade meetings under the Philippines’ chairmanship of the 2026 forum.
Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco assured that Cebu is prepared to welcome international visitors despite recent calamities.
The forum aims to strengthen regional tourism cooperation and showcase the Philippines as a premier travel destination.
Organizers expect the event to boost business opportunities and highlight Cebu’s resilience and hospitality.
