Davao City Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte urged women linked to his father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, to stop their ongoing quarrel.
The dispute began after Veronica Duterte accused a woman associated with her father of trying to pose as his partner to gain access to his detention facility.
Veronica vowed to confront the woman if she returns to the Philippines.
Meanwhile, Baste called for an end to the drama, emphasizing that all the women have touched their father’s life and that no one should be belittled.
He humorously referred to his father as the “true hokage,” noting how even in detention, Duterte’s women continue to fight over him.
