Atasha Muhlach is set to take center stage in the Philippine adaptation of the hit Thai series “Bad Genius” on Viva One.
In her first lead role, Muhlach plays Lin, a brilliant but struggling student who turns her academic prowess into a high-stakes cheating business.
The original 2017 Thai film, which broke box office records, was adapted into an award-winning series, and now the Filipino version will dive deeper into the characters’ personal lives.
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Derick Cabrido, the show promises a unique Filipino take on the story, blending thrilling drama with social commentary on the education system.
Alongside Muhlach, the series features a talented cast, including Jairus Aquino, Gab Lagman, and Hyacinth Callado.
