Malacañang dismissed rumors that President Marcos had been rushed to a hospital, clarifying that he was in a private meeting with the Presidential Management Staff over the weekend.
PCO Undersecretary Claire Castro confirmed that Marcos was not at St. Luke’s Medical Center and emphasized he is “well, healthy, and working.”
The President was carrying out official duties despite recent health concerns, including a diverticulitis diagnosis revealed last month.
At that time, he limited public engagements for about two weeks to rest and recover.
Malacañang stressed that Marcos has continued to monitor government operations throughout his recovery.
