Alas Pilipinas kicks off its campaign at the Alas Pilipinas Invitationals on Tuesday, facing Indonesia’s Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi at the Smart Araneta Coliseum as a preview of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship (MWCH) Philippines 2025.
The tournament, backed by Rebisco and organized by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF), features four teams and runs for three days, building anticipation for the global event in September.
PNVF President Ramon “Tats” Suzara emphasized the significance of showcasing the national team’s progress just 94 days before the MWCH begins.
Rebisco, a major sponsor, reaffirmed its commitment to volleyball development, with Vice Chairman Jonathan Ng highlighting the sport’s power to inspire national pride and discipline.
Matches also include teams from South Korea and Thailand, with local and international volleyball stars and coaches gracing the event.
