AirAsia Philippines reported an 85% average load factor in the first half of 2025, flying nearly 3 million passengers, including forward bookings.
Around 80% of this volume came from domestic travel, with Puerto Princesa emerging as the top local destination.
Taipei ranked as the most popular international route, prompting AirAsia to increase flights from 14 to 17 times weekly starting July 1.
The airline attributed the strong performance to tourism growth and ongoing initiatives like the AirAsia Fiesta Series and festival-linked promos.
To sustain momentum, AirAsia launched a seat sale with one-way base fares starting at P185, valid for bookings until June 1 and travel until October 31.
