The Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center, also known as V. Luna General Hospital, has inaugurated the Bagong Bayaning Mandirigma Casualty Care Center (BBM CCC) to provide advanced care for troops wounded in action.
The facility, a collaboration between One Meralco Foundation, Congressional Spouses Foundation, PLDT-Smart Foundation, and Metro Pacific Investments Foundation, includes a minor operating room, trauma and wound care center, and patient wards capable of serving around 405 patients monthly.
MVP-led Meralco emphasized the partnership between the public and private sectors to ensure quality medical care for service members.
The center’s second phase will focus on cancer care, providing specialized support for troops facing personal health battles.
AFP Medical Center and House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez highlighted the center’s role in safeguarding those who protect the country.
