Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri launched his new book, The Road to Peace: Crafting the Bangsamoro Organic Law, celebrating the successful passage of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL).
The book highlights the challenges and sacrifices behind the law, which led to the creation of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Zubiri, a Mindanaoan, shared his connection to the peace process, including the urgency of the law following the Marawi siege.
The law, a key milestone in peace efforts, also benefited from extensive public consultations and collaboration.
Zubiri emphasized the importance of the law for both the Bangsamoro region and the country.
