Siblings Carlos and Eldrew Yulo will lead Team Philippines at the 2026 FIG World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which begin on Oct. 17 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The competition features 24 countries competing for qualification spots in the next Summer Olympics, with the top three teams earning berths in the quadrennial event.
Carlos, a two-time gold medalist at the recent Asian Games and Paris Olympic champion, is favored in the floor exercise and vault, while Eldrew aims to make an impact in his World Championships debut.
The Yulo brothers are scheduled to compete in the qualification round on Oct. 18 at 4 p.m., while Miguel Besana begins his campaign in the men’s horizontal bar qualifiers on Oct. 17.
Haylee Garcia, the team’s lone female gymnast, will also seek to advance to the women’s all-around finals.
