Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has been proclaimed the winner of the 2025 mayoral race, securing a third and final term after a landslide victory over rival Sarah Discaya.
As of early Tuesday morning, partial and unofficial results showed Sotto garnering 286,289 votes, far ahead of Discaya’s 24,151.
His running mate, Vice Mayor Dodot Jaworski, also clinched reelection with 236,566 votes against Iyo-Caruncho Bernardo’s 58,805.
The Commission on Elections made the official declaration following the transmission of 81.12% of election returns.
Sotto’s win marks the continuation of his reform-focused governance that began in 2019.
