Adamson star Shai Nitura was crowned the UAAP Season 88 women’s volleyball Most Valuable Player, becoming the first Lady Falcon to win the award.
She also bagged the Best Outside Spiker citation, while teammate Fhei Sagaysay was named Best Setter.
Despite the individual honors, Nitura said her focus remains on helping Adamson reach the finals in future seasons.
She said the MVP award proves the team’s capability to compete at a championship level.
Adamson finished third in the eliminations with a 9–5 record but was swept by the University of Santo Tomas in the stepladder semifinals.
