Free agent guard Terrence Romeo is returning to 3×3 basketball while waiting for a PBA call-up.
Romeo, who last played 3×3 a decade ago, has agreed to join Manila Melmac for the FIBA 3×3 Manila Challenger on September 20-21.
The 33-year-old, formerly with Terrafirma, said he’s playing for the love of the game and his country, not for the money.
He will be joined by teammates Mac Tallo, Abdul Sawat, and Henry Iloka, with Chico Lanete as coach.
Romeo promised fans he would give his best to help the team achieve their goals.
