The local government of Taytay received a “Highly Functional” rating, the highest classification in the 2026 Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Their Children (LCAT-VAWC) assessment conducted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
Taytay earned a score of 103 percent, which the municipal government described as a milestone in good governance.
The recognition reflects the municipality’s efforts to protect women and children through strong policies, responsive governance, and community collaboration.
The assessment evaluated areas such as policy implementation, budget allocation, interagency coordination, and delivery of services for vulnerable sectors.
Taytay officials credited the achievement to the leadership of Mayor Allan De Leon, local officials, partner agencies, and community stakeholders.
