Several private education groups have voiced support for Education Secretary Sonny Angara and TESDA Director General Jose Francisco Benitez, praising their efforts to strengthen collaboration between their agencies.
The endorsements come after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. called for all Cabinet secretaries to resign as part of a government reset.
Organizations such as COCOPEA, the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines, and PEAC highlighted the officials’ significant contributions to education reform.
PEAC commended Angara for promoting public-private partnerships and expanding education subsidies to improve access and equity.
Benitez was also recognized for his inclusive approach to modernizing technical and vocational education.
