SM Prime Holdings Inc. plans to add at least 50 new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations this year, expanding its network to include residential communities and leisure estates alongside malls and offices.
As of March, the company has installed 131 EV charging stations nationwide as part of its commitment to sustainable mobility.
SM Prime president Jeffrey Lim emphasized that integrating sustainable practices is central to the company’s long-term strategy and supports the government’s vision for a future-ready EV ecosystem.
The company is a Department of Energy-accredited EV charging provider, ensuring its facilities meet national standards and safety protocols.
By expanding its EV infrastructure, SM Prime aims to promote greener habits among Filipinos and contribute to climate-resilient urban development.
