Vice President Sara Duterte attended a Filipino community event in Singapore on Oct. 25 to engage with overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) during the 10th anniversary celebration of SingPhil Events and Services LLP.
She was joined by senatorial candidates under PDP-Laban, including Senator Robin Padilla and lawyers Vic Rodriguez, Jimmy Bondoc, Jayvee Hinlo, and Dr. Richard Mata.
During the event, Duterte entertained the crowd by singing a rendition of Bon Jovi’s “Bed of Roses.”
She also attended a film forum at the NDM Expo in Singapore the day before, Oct. 24.
The Office of the Vice President clarified that all her foreign travels, including this trip, were covered by travel authority and did not use public funds, despite criticism over her recent extensive international travels.
