San Juan City has secured approval for a second 34-story vertical housing tower under the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) program, raising the city’s total approved socialized housing units to 2,133.
Mayor Francis Zamora said the Social Housing Finance Corp. cleared the Makabagong San Juan Pambansang Pabahay-2 project, adding 1,120 units to the city’s housing pipeline.
The approval follows the first 34-story tower with 1,013 units approved in September 2025, marking San Juan’s push for high-rise housing amid limited land availability.
Both buildings will be constructed along F. Manalo Street in Barangay Batis and are intended to provide affordable, permanent homes for qualified families in need of secure tenure.
SHFC said the second tower is the tallest 4PH project approved so far and will include commercial spaces and parking facilities to support community needs.
