Meta and Roblox have agreed to strengthen child safety measures following meetings with Philippine cybersecurity officials.
Meta will improve efforts to remove harmful deepfakes and provide user data to authorities investigating online abuse and exploitation.
Roblox will integrate its user verification system with the Philippine national ID system and open a local office by October.
Officials said the measures aim to prevent predators and groomers from accessing child-focused spaces and improve cooperation in cybercrime investigations.
Meta officials are also set to meet Philippine authorities in September to finalize information-sharing protocols and discuss measures against violent and abusive content.
