The football field at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex (RMSC) has been awarded the prestigious FIFA Quality Pro certification, marking it fit for professional and international matches.
The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and E-Sports International jointly announced the certification during the Philippine Sportswriters Association forum.
The top-level FIFA Quality Pro certification ensures the turf meets strict standards for performance, safety, and durability.
The field was refurbished within a month and tested in April before receiving formal certification on May 2, with E-Sports providing a year of free maintenance and training.
PSC Chair Richard Bachmann expressed gratitude for the upgrade, which aims to revitalize the stadium and support Philippine football’s growth.
