Newly installed Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla said he is ready to transfer the controversial flood control project cases to the Sandiganbayan for prosecution once the evidence is complete.
He emphasized the need for continuous trials to prevent delays and ensure cases move forward without interruption.
Remulla assured that no one is exempt from investigation, regardless of their rank or relation to President Marcos Jr., focusing on evidence rather than identities.
He also addressed questions about potential conflicts of interest, saying he trusts that his family was raised well and expects no wrongdoing.
Remulla took his oath on October 9, succeeding former Ombudsman Samuel Martires.
