A partnership between PhilHealth and two Quezon City institutions is expanding rehabilitation services for children with developmental disabilities.
PhilHealth, the QC Kabahagi Center for Children with Disabilities, and Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital signed a memorandum of agreement to provide rehabilitation services under PhilHealth’s Z Benefit Package.
The agreement was discussed during a meeting between Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte and PhilHealth Acting President and CEO Dr. Beverly Lorraine Ho.
They also discussed ways to strengthen healthcare services and address challenges in implementing the YAKAP and GAMOT programs.
The partnership aims to improve access to essential rehabilitation and healthcare services for children with disabilities in Quezon City.
