The government has launched a fuel subsidy program offering a ₱10 per liter discount on diesel for public utility vehicle drivers amid rising fuel prices due to the Middle East conflict.
The Department of Energy released a list of participating gas stations in Quezon City, Manila, Caloocan, Malabon, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, and Pasig, where PUVs can avail of the discount.
Major fuel companies such as Petron, Shell, Chevron, Unioil, and Seaoil, along with several independent stations, are included in the program.
Most covered stations are located along major roads like Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon Avenue, Rizal Avenue, Zapote Road, and Marcos Highway.
Authorities said the initiative aims to help ease the financial burden on transport workers affected by rising global oil prices.
