The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has encouraged local cement manufacturers to seek Tatak Pinoy certification, emphasizing support for Philippine-made products, especially in government procurement.
Recently, Republic Cement received the first Domestic Bidder’s Certificate of Preference (DoBid), affirming its products are locally manufactured and eligible for government projects requiring non-imported materials.
DTI Undersecretary Rafaelita Aldaba highlighted the importance of such certifications in expanding market reach, fostering growth, and enhancing competitiveness within the local manufacturing sector.
Republic Cement expressed commitment to supporting the Philippine economy through job creation and community development, aligning with government efforts to promote local industries.
