Savellano, who served as governor and representative of Ilocos Sur, worked tirelessly to strengthen the agricultural and livestock sectors.
Marcos expressed his condolences, emphasizing the enduring impact of Savellano’s work.
The National Tobacco Administration confirmed Savellano’s passing, noting he was also the husband of actress Dina Bonnevie.
