PLDT’s online marketplace app, Tindahan ni Bossing (TINBO), is nearing 500,000 users worldwide, driven largely by its strong presence among Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in the Middle East.
PLDT Global COO Edith Gomez-Cudiamat shared that the app is expanding its services, including an upcoming partnership with Philippine Airlines (PAL) to integrate Mabuhay Miles into the platform.
The app helps OFWs buy load, pay bills, and send vouchers to their families, while also providing free calls to government agencies like the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, especially useful for those in conflict zones.
TINBO recently collaborated with PAL to bring Filipino celebrities to entertain OFWs in Hong Kong, a key destination for Filipino workers.
PLDT Global is also working with Smart Communications to expand support services, aiming to enhance welfare and emergency assistance for OFWs worldwide.
