The Philippines has 176 public-private partnership (PPP) projects worth P2.60 trillion in its pipeline, according to the PPP Center.
While the number of projects remained unchanged from February, the total cost increased due to adjustments in the pipeline, including eight new projects such as Project KILO for prison system improvements and the MMDA Emergency Response Center.
Meanwhile, six projects were removed, including the P29.82-billion Air Navigation Services project and the Cavite Bus Rapid Transit System, as they have already been awarded for implementation.
Of the total projects, 116 are national, valued at P2.39 trillion, while 60 local projects amount to P212.64 billion.
The government aims to boost infrastructure through PPPs to attract investments, generate jobs, and support economic growth.
