PH, AUSTRALIA BOOSTS NAVAL TIES THROUGH SUBIC VISIT

A Royal Australian Navy warship docked at the Naval Operating Base of the Philippine Fleet in Subic as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral naval relations with the Philippine Navy. 

The visiting ship made a port call from Friday to Monday to enhance navy-to-navy cooperation and maritime operational ties. It was welcomed with arrival honors at Rivera Wharf in Subic, where senior naval officers from both countries held courtesy calls and discussions. 

Talks focused on expanding maritime cooperation, improving interoperability, and exploring possible joint activities. 

The port visit also included technical exchanges and training workshops, serving as preparation for upcoming multilateral maritime exercises and reinforcing shared commitments to regional security and stability.
