Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla, and Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. will remain in their Cabinet posts under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin confirmed.
Marcos decided to retain them to ensure smooth operations and stability in key government sectors following a Cabinet revamp directive after the May midterm elections.
Bersamin also said he has no information regarding the acceptance of National Security Adviser Eduardo Año’s resignation, as it is a personal decision of the President.
Marcos aims to improve government efficiency and responsiveness through possible further Cabinet changes.
Defense Secretary Teodoro expressed gratitude for the President’s trust and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the nation’s defense and regional peace.
