NorthPort will continue its franchise operations, including participation in the PBA Season 50 Rookie Draft, while the league reviews its proposed sale to Pureblends.
Commissioner Willie Marcial confirmed that Pureblends formally submitted a letter of intent and other key documents for acquiring the Batang Pier franchise.
The sale, reportedly valued at P90 million, is still under review by a PBA committee that will make a recommendation.
Despite the ongoing process, NorthPort remains active in all league activities, including the upcoming draft combine at Ynares Sports Arena.
Rookie prospects are currently undergoing evaluations and drills as teams scout for new talent ahead of the draft.
