PARAS REITERATES CLAIM THAT RECTO ORDERED GIRLS FROM TALENT MANAGER

Former Negros Oriental Rep. Jacinto “Jing” Paras denied that there was a “honey trap” plot against Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, claiming that Recto had ordered girls from a talent manager to provide sexual services.

Paras made the statement after the National Bureau of Investigation filed qualified human trafficking complaints against him, Batangas Rep. Leandro Leviste, the talent manager, and four lawyers.

Paras said he contacted the talent manager and lawyers to interview four female artists and potentially help them file a complaint against Recto.

He denied that Leviste was involved in the alleged plan, saying the talent manager was the one who suggested that the lawmaker fund the effort.

Recto denied ever meeting the talent manager or the women and said those involved should explain themselves in court.
