The DBM released an additional P1.885 billion for the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) to help cover medical expenses and services.
Of the amount, P800 million will fund Zero Balance Billing while P1.04 billion will support medical services.
Another P15 million will be allocated to treat patients with Lubag Syndrome.
DBM said the funding supports the government’s priority to improve access to healthcare despite limited resources.
Meanwhile, PGH is facing an P805-million budget cut in the proposed 2027 budget.
