National University’s men’s volleyball team, five-time UAAP champions, will represent the Philippines at the 2025 FISU World University Games in Germany from July 16 to 27.
The Bulldogs earned their spot by winning the Philippine University Volleyball League, the country’s qualifying tournament organized by FESSAP.
The 12-player roster is coached by multi-titled Dante Alinsunurin Jr. and will compete against teams from Poland, Colombia, and Argentina in the group stage.
The Philippines is one of only 16 countries invited to compete in men’s volleyball at the event, which features over 8,000 student-athletes from 100 nations.
FESSAP president Edwin Fabro lauded the team’s achievement and emphasized the dedication of all involved in bringing the country to the international stage.
