National University (NU) clinched its fifth consecutive UAAP men’s volleyball championship with a 25-16, 28-26, 25-23 win over Far Eastern University (FEU) in Game 3 of the finals.
Leo Ordiales led NU with 13 points, while Rwenzmel Taguibolos and Michaelo Buddin also made significant contributions.
Despite FEU’s Dryx Saavedra scoring 24 points, the Tamaraws fell short in their bid to end a 13-year title drought.
NU head coach Dante Alinsunurin praised his team’s experience, which helped them prevail in the tight series.
This victory marked NU’s eighth overall title this season across various sports.
