Nine senators, including Panfilo Lacson, Juan Miguel Zubiri, and Loren Legarda, will publicly release their Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) today following the Ombudsman’s move to restore public access to the documents.
Six senators, among them Vicente Sotto III and Risa Hontiveros, have already disclosed their wealth, with Raffy Tulfo emerging as one of the richest, declaring ₱1.05 billion in combined assets with his wife.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced new Omnibus Rules on SALN, introducing digital filing and online oath-taking starting next year to streamline compliance.
The updated guidelines aim to enhance transparency, accountability, and uniformity across government agencies.
The CSC also clarified procedures for new hires and resigning officials, while removing the requirement for a spouse’s signature on SALNs.
