Christopher Montero was named ambassador to Indonesia, and Patrick Chuasoto became ambassador to Sweden, overseeing Latvia concurrently. Former Court of Appeals Justice Danton Bueser was appointed to the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority board. Maria Amifaith Fider-Reyes and Elpidio Vega were also named to high-ranking government positions, among others. The Metropolitan Waterworks System and other agencies saw new appointees for their leadership and operational roles.
