Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo met with Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte to discuss best practices in digitalization and other local governance initiatives.
Quezon City agreed to send an information technology team to help Naga improve its digital services.
The two leaders also exchanged ideas on housing, human resource development, and governance programs.
Robredo was also in Manila to coordinate with the Commission on Elections regarding Naga’s planned conversion into a highly urbanized city.
She clarified that her trips to Manila are mostly self-funded, made once a month to secure support from government agencies and private partners for the city.
