MUNTINLUPA LGU TO PROVIDE NO-COST MEDICINE DELIVERY FOR ELDERLY AND BEDRIDDEN

The Muntinlupa City government will launch RIDE Med, a free medicine delivery service for senior citizens and bedridden residents.

The program targets seniors aged 80 and above, and bedridden individuals aged 60 and older, delivering prescribed maintenance medicines for conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol.

Deliveries will be made by designated riders with barangay health workers to ensure proper care and follow-up.

Eligible seniors can register through their barangay health centers or by calling dedicated hotlines, with home registration also available.

Mayor Ruffy Biazon emphasized that RIDE Med aims to bring healthcare directly to vulnerable seniors, promoting dignity and peace of mind.
