Michelle Dee, a finalist in the “Voice for Change” initiative at last year’s Miss Universe pageant, recently shared her $12,000 prize with Autism Society Philippines (ASP).
To commemorate the occasion, she participated in a painting activity with individuals on the autism spectrum at Alta Roca in Antipolo City on September 21.
Dee expressed her excitement about the funds, noting their potential to support numerous projects for families in need.
She emphasized the importance of ongoing advocacy for better healthcare and education for individuals with disabilities.
ASP’s spokesperson highlighted that Dee’s involvement has raised awareness and contributed to important legislative discussions regarding autism care in the Philippines.
