The hotline offers 24/7 assistance to those struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts, providing a vital lifeline for vulnerable individuals.
Magalona, who has openly shared her battle with depression, expressed gratitude for the role and emphasized the importance of emotional expression in mental health.
She acknowledged the responsibility of her new position, noting how the hotline can now help people who reach out to her personally for support.
The BFP celebrated the first anniversary of the Kalingang Bumbero Hotline on May 27, highlighting its growing impact.
