MARCOS HAILS ₱62B DRUG SEIZURE UNDER BLOODLESS CAMPAIGN

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. highlighted the success of his administration’s “bloodless” war on drugs, noting over ₱62 billion worth of shabu seized in the past three years.

During an inspection at the PDEA headquarters in Quezon City, Marcos examined the country’s largest drug haul to date — over ₱8.87 billion worth of floating shabu recovered off northern coastal provinces.

He is set to lead the destruction of these and other illegal drugs in Capas, Tarlac, assuring the public of transparency and zero pilferage.

Marcos emphasized that the anti-drug campaign focuses on dismantling drug operations without resorting to violence, stressing its success through strengthened prevention and rehabilitation efforts.

House Speaker Martin Romualdez praised the administration’s humane and strategic approach, pledging legislative support to further bolster interdiction and community protection.
