Households will face higher costs for cooking gas this February as major LPG suppliers raised their prices.
Petron announced a P0.70 per kilogram increase in LPG prices starting February 1, citing changes in international contract prices.
Solane also adjusted its rates, increasing LPG prices by P0.73 per kilogram.
Cleanfuel raised its auto LPG price by P0.35 per liter.
Before these adjustments, the Department of Energy reported that 11-kilogram household LPG tanks ranged from P860 to P1,140, while auto LPG was priced at around P42.55 per liter in Metro Manila.
