Several local government units (LGUs) suspended classes on October 20 due to Tropical Storm Ramil and ongoing school facility rehabilitation.
Some LGUs shifted to alternative delivery modes or online classes to continue education.
Affected areas include Cavite, Rizal, Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Capiz, and Cebu, with suspensions applying to both public and private schools.
In some places, face-to-face classes were limited to certain levels or temporarily paused.
Roxas City extended suspension until October 22, while Lapu-Lapu City continued face-to-face classes only until October 25.
