The House leadership under Speaker Martin Romualdez pledged to expedite the approval of the 2025 national budget and other critical bills identified in the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC).
Romualdez emphasized the House’s readiness to swiftly pass the PHP6.352 trillion National Expenditure Program, expected from the Department of Budget and Management by July 29.
He aimed to conclude budget deliberations by September’s end to support national growth and address citizens’ immediate needs under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s administration.
Additionally, Romualdez committed to advancing priority legislative measures crucial for sustainable development and prosperity, emphasizing collaboration with the Senate for effective governance.
