Former Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) executive director Brian Keith Hosaka has returned to the Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) as commissioner.
Hosaka took his oath before Executive Secretary Ralph Recto in Malacañang on Wednesday, according to the Office of the Executive Secretary.
He previously served as GCG commissioner after being appointed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in 2023, before moving to the ICI in 2025.
The now-defunct ICI had investigated alleged irregularities in flood-control and infrastructure projects and officially ended its operations on March 31, 2026.
Hosaka earlier held key positions in the Supreme Court and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines before rejoining the GCG.
