Consumers can expect a slight relief at the pumps next week as oil companies anticipate another round of price rollbacks for petroleum products.
Gasoline prices are estimated to decrease by P0.25 to P0.65 per liter, while diesel prices will see a relatively larger cut of P0.50 to P0.90 per liter.
Additionally, kerosene prices, widely used in aviation and households, are expected to decrease by P0.45 to P0.85 per liter.
These estimates are based on the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) index, reflecting price adjustments from four-day trading in the regional market.
The final price adjustments may still change depending on MOPS pricing and the fluctuation of the Philippine peso against the US dollar.
