Former Vice President Leni Robredo visited Naga City on Sunday night to assist with flood relief efforts following Tropical Storm Enteng.
Robredo, seen wading through floodwaters, coordinated with her NGO, Angat Buhay, and local youth group Naguenyou to distribute hot meals to evacuees.
She called for additional volunteers and in-kind donations, including food and medical supplies, to support those affected by the flooding.
Naga City Mayor Son Legacion had earlier suspended work and classes and is seeking a state of emergency declaration to access calamity funds for relief operations.
The city government plans to use these funds to aid flood victims.
