First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos highlighted the role of Filipino farmers, MSMEs, and local communities in promoting Philippine food products globally during the opening of IFEX Philippines 2026 in Pasay City.
She said Filipino food reflects not only the country’s flavors but also the hard work and creativity behind local products.
The First Lady noted that the event’s theme, “Tropical Flavors for the World,” aims to expand opportunities for Filipino businesses in the international market.
She added that partnerships and product exposure at the trade show could create more jobs and livelihoods for Filipinos.
IFEX Philippines 2026 featured over 500 exhibitors and 100 international brands at the World Trade Center Metro Manila from May 21 to 23.
