A Pulse Asia survey conducted in June 2025 found that 53% of Filipinos are satisfied with the Philippine Senate’s performance, marking an 8-point increase from March.
The rise in approval coincides with a surge in legislative productivity under Senate President Francis Escudero, with 216 bills passed during the third regular session of the 19th Congress.
Disapproval ratings dropped to 18%, while undecided responses decreased to 28%. Approval ratings increased across all regions and socioeconomic classes, particularly in NCR and the Visayas, both at 64%.
The 20th Congress is set to convene on July 28 following the Senate’s record output of measures for presidential approval.
